Unhappy Headlights will not pop up!

I am having one hell of a time with these headlights. I travel in the morning to race events when it is dark so I manually put up my headlights and it is just bugging me to do that all the time.

The car is a 1993 Mazda Rx-7 FD
I checked to see if it is plugged in up at the button and it is.
I checked the fuse that runs the headlights and the motor for them to go up and down and I am getting power.

Headlight turns on and off just fine but both headlights will not pop up or down automatically. Am I missing something here or do you think the motors are bad on both headlights? The car only has 40,000 miles it so it is hard for me to believe the motors are bad.

Plugged in (check)
Fuse (check)
Power (check)

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT IF I AM MISSING SOMETHING OR IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS.

Thanks,

Darin

If the wiring is fine then it probably is the headlight motor.

n1co's probably right though. if the wiring is fine, then it cant be miswired, so that seems to be the logical thing. seems impractical for both to be out, but it could be the truth.

Check the signal and the power supply to the headlight engine with a voltmeter if you hit the light switch. If you have a signal and the motor are not responding definitely.....the motors are gone to hell.
