Headlight modification question.

I have a 1991 turbo rx7 that I just spent a lot of money fixing the body up and painting it and every time I put my headlights up I get weird looks. My friend has a 240sx and he has a dual headlight/sleepy eye kit he bought for his car the head light still goes up and down not like the ones on a newer 300zx but instead of one big bulky sold headlight he has 2 fog light type set up. It changed the look of his car dramatically. After looking at his set up, the bezel and headlight cradle doesn’t look to different from the rx7s. I was curious to weather anyone has this set up on their car or if the kit he bought would potently work with a little modification. Please help I’m tired of my giant pop up headlights! Below is the link for the set up he is using.

Several people have done such conversions, which you can find in the 2nd gen forum with some searching.

I guess if that's your thing, then go for it. Just make sure that you maintain all the factory adjustments so the lights can be aimed properly.

link to the headlights you may be asking about.I suggest you read it though,as there are no real instructions on how to install this kit.The info is in the thread.
Good Luck.
