Ever since I purchased my car the left headlight had trouble getting up. It behaved like there was dirt in the mechanism or something. The right headlight worked perfectly. They opened/closed to both the headlight opener switch and to the headlights being turned on/off.

I completely replaced the motor for the left headlight yesterday and everything worked great. Today I pressed the headlight opener/closer a few times in celebration then suddenly they stopped working. I looked at the FSM and check the relay, E1-02, only to find out that there is no relay in the spot, just an open port.

Can someone make sense of this? It seems like it should have never been working in the first place if the Retra relay was out.
