Having problems with my locks after switching from power to manual doors.

The pinout for the power lock switch is 3 wire, 3 prong. Both my harnesses only have 2 pinouts in the connector with 2 wires. Both my manual and power doors are like this. I dont know what's up.

Now, these worked fine before the swap in my gxl. I put my se doors on and nothing. Could it be because i dont have my other plug-ins such as the power window switch and interior light?

Any suggestions?

Also, my passenger side door lock will not accept a key. Nothing is wedged in there, i hosed the mechanism down with wd-40 and still, nothing.

What to do? I made sure i had the right locks installed on the handles before installing them. All clips and rods are in place.

Thanks.

The power locks only work of you have the power window harnesses in place.

And you want to avoid WD-40. It is the sperm of the Devil. It will eat those nice Teflon parts that attach the rods to the mechanisms as well as attract dust which will sand out the parts. You are much better off using some dry lubricants on door parts such as spray-in graphite.

I guess i'll be in the market for a lock and key set then.

WD40 seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm using the power window harness in my gxl for the se doors. if that helps. I didn't cut it.

Do i need to splice the se's harness into the gxls to use my manual doors on said gxl? I dont know which one of us was being unclear there but i hope this helps?
