Brake Lights

Hey everyone im running into a bit of a problem, i just bought a FC3S and my brake lights dont work...<_< when i turn on my head light the running light turn on but i get nothing for when i brake, also the brake light in on. Any information will help

Sounds fuse-driven but I don't know enough about these car's electrical layouts to comment intelligently on it....but, amazingly enough, 1stgen Pontiac Firebirds do the same thing and it was usually a blown fuse or dying turn signal, really crazy...

Could very well be that the harness has taken a cut to the power lines going back there as well, the lamp housings not being grounded or all the bulbs are dead....start from the end and work to the front...check all bulbs first.

Is it just the brake lights (if so then you probably have a bad or disconnected brake light switch)

or is it the parking lights (the lights that light up at each corner)? The FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this and the 2nd gen technical sections covers it if it is the parking/running lights.

And your multiple threads on this have been merged. Please only start one thread per subject per member.
