Granatelli Spark Plug Wires

hi
i did a research,
i would like to buy granatelli spark plug wires
'93-'96 Mazda Rx Series 2Cyl 1.3L: Granatelli Motorsports

but my car ir 1999
whats the difference in 8bit and 16bit wires?

8 bit vs.16 bit refers to the different ECU on the later models. AFAIK, it has nothing to do with plug wires. Instead of buying what I suspect is just a universal wire kit that might fit, I recommend just buying the OEM NGK plug wires. According to your previous posts, your engine isn't heavily modded and there's nothing better IMO... Plug Wires 93+ RX-7

Do spark plug wires really differ that much? I know length is the big thing, but couldn't the wires from my 8 go on a 7?

No expert, but shielding, resistance and fit are important. Longevity is also right in there for consideration. I KNOW the OEM wires meet those requirements for a stock or mildly modded car( same for the NGK plugs). And they’re not expensive. Those the op asked about look like cheezey aftermarket. Seems like a no-brained to me.
