got a jdm engine with cut harness i think...

Got a jdm engine everything looks good besides the harness is cut.. now i have another harness so ill just use that one but how do i take off the jdm cut harness..?

Um, just unplug what's left of the J-spec harness from the engine (you'll need to remove the upper intake manifold) and then plug in your North American harness.

Cut harnesses are very common on j-specs. Remember these are junk yard engines and the workers in the yard are concerned with removing the engine as quickly as possible. So they use bolt cutters on the harness.

You haven't said if you are doing this swap or not. If you are uncertain on figuring out removing the harness you may want to enlist some aid in swapping the engine. I'm not saying this to be dick, I want you to have a good experience as an owner.

Also, where did you buy the engine from? Do you have proof of compression? Did you open the engine up before putting it in?

Kk thanks i lost mine...lol yup ill let you guys know in the next day or to already got her apart a lil bit but i noticed my turbo inlet duct is cracked... i got a guy on here that has one but he has a s4 duct .. would that fit on my s5?

You will need an S5 Turbo inlet duct, S4 will not work

Ok update got my old motor out... now im gonna clean up the jdm engine a lil and REALLY clean the engine bay should be in by friday!!
