So I've been working on the '88 FC I just got. Ordering a new AFM so the thing will start. However, I've stumbled upon a new issue, an electrical gremlin if you will.
I hadn't been leaving the battery in it because I was charging it in between wrenching sessions. Today I did leave the battery in, and the horn randomly went off a few times (it would suddenly just come on, and stay on). Then, while I was struggling to open the hood while the horn blared, the blinkers went off and on of their own volition. Anyone ever see anything like this before?

 

i have had a similar kinda of situation happening to me.i have an 88 TII and only maybe a month a ago or so the alarm starting going off randomly. i killed my battery twice. so now when im at school i have to pop the hood and disconnect my battery. very weird
