Getting tired of playing "Whats that smell" when in driving my 89 RX7

I dont even know where to begin. If it not a gasoline fume it a burning rubber smell, and if its not that it smells like something is really hot or burning. but the bigest problem now was today at work when my boss came in and told me my alarm was going off go to my car get it everything is flashing my alarm is going of but my car would not turn on. i had to take the cable off the bat. to end its pain but i dont know what to do. PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!!! FML
