Gen 3 exterior door handle

Went to get in my 94, lifted the handle, and nothing. Thought it was locked so put the key in to unlock, lifted handle. Still nothing. Finally got in thru passenger side and opened it fine from inside. It is garaged so I know it wasn't tampered with. Thoughts or suggestions?

I am not an Fd guy but I think \I read they are prone for that.
Get to the 3rd gen Specific or Archives and track some material down pertaining to that problem. It should be available.

Same problem here on my 93 FD driver's side door. The handle feels really loose. I found a replacement handle here though:

I had the same problem a few months ago and I tried to lubricate my handle from the inside, and it didn't work. I ended up snapping the plastic and having to buy a new one. So, I ended up buying the aluminum one offered by rx7doorhandles.com. I have had nothing to complain about with this one, and they offer a lifetime warranty. (Not trying to advertise or sell their product for them, just giving helping info)
