Future Owner RX-7 FD

Hi everyone!

I just joined the forum and my name is Giacomo, from Italy. I'm looking for advice on how to prepare a Mazda RX-7, that i will import from Japan, for touge and occasionally to "dust" the rich kids who tailgate me on the highway.
  1. Power: I'd like to know if 350 horsepower is enough for these needs or if 400 is too much, especially for touge. My priority is to maintain a good balance between power and handling.
  2. Single Turbo: I'm thinking about going with a single turbo to achieve 350 hp, hoping to improve the engine's longevity and reliability. Is this a good choice? What components and modifications do you recommend to achieve this?
  3. Other Modifications: Besides the engine, what other modifications do you recommend to enhance the performance and handling of my RX-7 for touge and highway use?
Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions!

welcome to the board, Giacomo.

i think the best place to start is here: https://www.rx7club.com/new-member-r...faq-fd-782404/

that should cover just about any of the curiosities or new owner questions that you will have. it should give you a good foundation to start building your knowledge.
