Fuel tank
Is anyone making fuel tanks for 1st gens? A friend of mine has a 82 without a tank and needs one bad. He is currently using a tank for a jon boat motor which is strapped down under the back glass. He is tired of the fumes, which cant be to safe.

If you cannot source a decent condition used fuel tank... Then you may need to look into fuel cells.
I used to live in west central/southern Illinois. There are probably plenty of shops that could weld you up a fuel tank. They may not like the Japanese car, but they sure do like the USD.

Just buy one used. Make sure to look inside of it for grime and rust. If its dirty, clean it and install it.
