CA Fuel management

I have a new engine and I want to run higher that stock Boost levels, what fuel management system should I be looking at, I've considered Haltec, but whats the story with rtec and them reprograming your stock ECU for performance upgredes? can anyone shed any light on what exactly works the best ? My motor is built and should be able to take 10+ pounds of boost safely so what Mods do I need to make 350 ish RWHP ? My fellow instructors at my school give me tons of greif for building a Rotart and i would like to see them Eat serious Crow and recant their statements.

The RTek is a "chipped" stock ECU that is programmable. It is good for stock turbo applications as well as hybrid turbo applications. It is not suitable for full turbo upgrades.

A Haltech is a staple of the rotary community and has been used with great success for many years. It is a great option as a full standalone.

Now, as for your 350HP, that can be done with a hybrid stock turbo. You will have issues with that though in the form of lag and boost control. I'd suggest an aftermarket turbo like the 60-1, T4B, GT35R, etc. None of those turbos will make 350RWHP at 10 PSI though. You're looking more at around 15 PSI.

so for a fairly stock car, with the possible exception of bigger secondary injectors , what way would you go ? This car will be set up for Sunday drives and some fun at the track once and a while and some chassi dyno sessions at our school.

A Haltech, upgraded turbo (hybrid or one of the ones I mentioned), larger injectors, FMIC and fuel pump should do the job. The advantage of the hybrid turbos is that they bolt onto the stock manifold. The aftermarket turbos require a new manifold with an external wastegate setup.

There are several models of Haltech. I'm a bit out of the loop on their new lineup so head over to the Haltech subforum and see what people are using. They just introduced a bunch of new ECUs and I've not looked at them yet.
