how much hp will an rx7tt hold

im just getting into the rx7 game and i was wondering how much hp the motor can handle?

As much as you can tune for.

This is not a simple question because it relies on a lot of variables. There are drag 13Bs putting out 1500HP+, but I doubt that is the answer you are looking for.

On the street, the engine has no real trouble reliably making 500HP when done properly.

A stock engine with bolt-ons can do 300rwhp.

A modified engine with standalone ECU, modified cooling, intercooler, exhaust, fuel, and stock turbos can do 375rwhp and still operate as twin turbos. Upgraded twins can get up around 400rwhp.

A modified engine with all of the above and single turbo is good for 350-550rwhp. To get in the 400-550rwhp range you'll probably need race gas or a good AI system.

How reliable and streetable depends a lot on how well modified the car is. You'll need to change a lot of parts to get above 350hp.
