fuel gauge not working

my fuel guage isnt working right now after i put on a diff fuel pump. It was working before the install. Any trouble shooting advice??

2nd Gen guy myself, but when my fuel gauge stopped working, it was because my fuel sender unit was malfunctioning.

Id check the sender like Jpk suggested, make sure nothing got pulled out during the pump swap

Yeah i found out when they were installing it it got pulled out
