First time Rotary owner
Hi guys just picked up a 94 JDM FD . I have zero experience with rotary (i hope am not in for a world of hurt lol). Car has some work to be done. Wiring issues, mainly radiator fans ,instrument cluster . Can the community point me in the right direction as i am looking for a simple v mount intercooler setup , original radiator fan assembly with shroud, possibly a PFC.
Is there anything i delete off the engine side of things to make the engine setup simpler? Seems to me there is some sort of injection pump delete but its leaking so will have to sort that. Is there a delete kit? Also i was told that the car uses a "pre mix" setup which is the addition of 2 stroke oil to the fuel? What are the ratios for mixing? Is that recommended?
Any help or guidance is appreciated !

Welcome and congrats on the car...though if you're a novice it would have been better IMO to get a car without issues to begin with. In any event....
*Once you have sufficient post count you'll have access to the PARTS FOR SALE section where you can put a WANT TO BUY ad in for bits you need...shipping might hurt a little where you live though. Keep in mind that you have a JDM car, which is different in many ways from the S6 car imported into North America.
*Learn the search function in the 3rd Gen. Technical section. Huge info resource on just about any subject. There's also a pretty comprehensive FAQ sticky at the top of this page for the 3rd Gen. Spending some evenings reading will pay off.
*Download a copy of the Factory Service Manual. Not sure about the RHD version, but ours is available.
*While it's probably the best overall IC set-up, a simple V-mount is, IMO, an oxymoron. Lots of modifications, plumbing and relocation.
*I believe you're referencing the METERING OIL PUMP (as the FSM calls it) or most often referred to here as the OMP or OIL METERING PUMP. Without a working pump you MUST premix 2-cycle oil in with the gas to lubricate hard seals and aid dynamic compression. 1 oz. per gallon of gas is recommended ratio without a working OMP.
*As for my personal suggestion/guidance...I recommend you use the first year or so to get the references above and fix any significant issues before doing ANY modification on the car. Get a baseline for maintenance by changing all fluids and getting those fan and wiring issues sorted. Learn about the car and study the pros and cons of any contemplated mods. It will save you a lot of money and grief.
