First Gen Wheel Hub Swap

This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to do a wheel hub swap from a Miata in to a First Gen? I'm sick of 4x110 wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

A common conversion here is Oz is to use FC hubs on a custom bracket.

swap to gsl-se 4x114 wheel pattern. gets you slightly larger front and rear brakes, too.

Yeah, I've looked at both of those, I just thought a Miata would be kind of cool and different, but I wasn't sure if it would work or not.
