i want to get this beautiful 1991 rx7 convertible so bad but my parents aren't sure it'sa great idea. i saw it today and it took the owner 2 tries to start it so that was a bit offputting. it only has 77,000 miles on it so i'm wondering if that was just a weird coincidence. i am also wondering how expensive maintenance on the car would be. please help

also please note i am not super into cars but i am willing to learn for this amazing car ik how lucky i am to even get a chance to own one

 

It may just have been sitting for some time. Two tries to start the car can be taken a couple ways. You would need to get out and drive the car to make a proper assessment of it. Did you grab any pictures to post?

Maintenance initially will be expensive to get the car where it should be for daily driving. After that, the FC is not an expensive car to maintain or repair
