Newbie buys 91 RX-7 Convertible

This weekend I purchased a 91 convertible with approx. 25,000 miles on it. I live in Connecticut and the car is in NE Cincinnati. I will be flying out to inspect it within the next week or two, and with a little luck, consumate the deal and drive it back to CT.

Is there anyone in Cincinnati that would be willing to join me as I'm a virgin with these cars. I would gladly pay a reasonable fee for your time, assuming you have the street cred. to offer me experienced advice. My timing is flexible. The seller has committed in writing that I can get a 100% refund for any reason if I'm not comfortable with the car. It needs to at least get me home to Connecticut...

Thanks.

What you should be looking for is a competent shop in the Cincinnati area to go through the entire vehicle before the x-country drive.

All fluids, filters, hoses, belts..... need looking into. Even though it is low mileage, time takes its toll.

If vehicle is running good and new, don't worry!
