BC fd3s 1992 japan question

Hi,

my engine does not rev fast, if I open the throttle fast and wide the engine reves only 2-3k rpm and then backfire and misfiring if I open the throttle slow the engine revs up to 7k rpm

This problem started after I did a silicone hose job, double throttle removal.

Notes: double throttle solenoid is still plugged in.

- double throttle components have all bean removed from extension manifold.

Note: I noticed that I have a loss of break vacuum and my breaks don't feel right.

Free case of beer on me, to whoever can solve this.

Thanks

Sounds like you're in limp mode.....timing won't advance and fuel is cut if vacuum isn't seen at the manifold. As long as you throttle slow, vacuum is maintained and it revs. Too fast and it stumbles because vacuum is lost.
JDM models don't have CELs IIRC. Find out how to check codes on your car.

I have taken the exstention manifold off and cheeked for pinches/ misswired hoses about 5 times. I can safly say its not the vaccum system.

Not sure what has occured, but I let the car sit over night and I started it this morning and it is now running on 1 roater.

how did this happen overnight with no tampering?

things are getting worse and im not sure how.

PS: low break stoping power solved.
