Hi I am now the proud owner of a 1998 RX7, although i have bought it with a problem and cant seem to see anything about it in any forum.

It will now start cold, the gentleman i bought it off told me that he has problems starting it cold, when i went to see it i could not start it with the key and we had to tow it down the road and bump start it, once it started it seemed to run fine and it would then start again no problem.

I spoke to a mechanic and he told me that it could be the "blades" that were worn and it would need an engine stripdown and would cost a fortune to fix. Is this right?? Or could it be something else.
