fd rx7 crank but no start

I have a microtech lt10s on my fd rx7 and usually when I crank the engine the yellow light on the ecu will flash for ignition pulse. Since it hasn't been flashing while cranking I have tested resistance from the ecu end connector of the crank angle sensor and it's within spec. I also did an AC voltage test on them while cranking the engine and one puts out 0.1-0.3 volts and the other puts out 0.5-0.8. Are these voltages too low for a good signal to the ecu? I have occasionally had a ignition pulse so it's intermittent, but not for a while. Any help would be appreciated
