FD Front Bumper change?

Hey all!

Noob member here, I was just wondering what year Mazda changed the front bumper. Was it 1999? The reason I'm asking is because the newest year of RX-7 that can be imported into Canada right now is a 1994, but I prefer the foglight style on the right.

<--- old style new style --->

Also, is there any way to fit the new fog lights (right picture) into the older model RX-7 bumper?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, that first post doesn't make much sense. If the mods could delete, that would be fine.

All I want to know is: Does a 1999 bumper fit on a 1993 or 1994 RX-7?

Yes, you can do the '99 front bumper conversion on a 93-94 car. You'll need to buy the lights (turn lamps and fogs if you want them) and the front spoiler to complete the look:

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Is that the cheapest place to buy the 99 spec turnlamps?

You can find replicas on eBay or a few other places. The replicas don't look the same, but they are similar.

do you have to cut into the crash beam to fit the 99 fogs?

Hey dude!

I actually don't have the car yet, I'm hoping to go pick it up next weekend (14th or 15th). I think I'm going to do the tail light mod to keep myself from going crazy before I can drive it.
