I've searched the forums and read numerous how-tos about pulling the egi fuse, cranking, etc. - I would like to try the WD40 method by spraying about 4 seconds into the UIM nipple, my newbie, embarrassing issue is that I don't know which nipple that is or what it looks like. I have a nipple going to my BOV and one going elsewhere off the manifold (JDM by the way) - does anyone have a diagram, photo, or could circle it for me?
Not familiar with this...procedure. Do you have a link to the thread explaining it?
Hey, thanks for the reply - there are tons of threads discussing flooded cars, but I figured it out, and after a combination of things including new spark plugs, I'm up and running!
I've had to use the WD-40 trick a few times. A quick squirt in intake (one nipple is capped off, the other goes to the BOV. On the diagram the vacuum nipples are labeled 'boost gauge' and the red line goes to the BOV.
I've been carrying the small can of WD-40 around for a year while I was working toward a new engine (currently swapping it in). Lifesaver for low-compression engines.
