NB FD brakes on an FC

Hi
I'm not satisfied with the non ABS brakes on my 87 TurboII. I bought a Master cylinder & dual diaphragm canister from an FD as it has a bigger bore MC, 15/16" vs. 7/8" & a dual diaphragm instead of single diaphragm canister.
Can I use the proportioning valve from the FC on the FD setup? There are 2 outputs on the FD. Is the output closest to the MC (the one on the inside) for the front or rear brakes?
Has anyone done this & could give me some tips on how to do it?
Thanks

look up Mazda 929 booster,Stew.
There are some lads that have done some installs/mods with using that model of master/booster combo.

+1

it does the same upgrade without all the rest of the BS associated.

this of course assumes you have 5 lug 4 pot front brakes, if not start there. upgrading single pot front brakes with a new MC and booster doesn't solve much.

NB

Thanks for the inputs.
I already have the FD booster & MC, so was hoping that would work. I left out one important piece of info, I have an auto tranny (lt1-4l60e combo) so don't have the issues with the "reservoir sharing" that a manual tranny would have.
I will look in to the 929 write-ups as it may be the best way to go anyway.
