FD Battery negative ground location

Hello, I bought this roller and I want to operate the windows. Car didnt come with the Negative battery terminal and I know it grounds on the shock tower.

Which hole is where the ground goes?
What size bolt is it?
What gauge Negative is recommended?
Also whats the other bolt holes for?

TIA!

stock cable is 2 gauge

I believe it mounts to the lowest of those holes. the flat section with the 2 holes. A cable from the block also mounts to the same location.

I think the next hole up is for a relay bracket...it's covered by the main fuse block. The top two holes are unused on my car.

You can always download the FSM or Parts Manual and it will show you what can/does go there.

Quick question, I cant get power to the board without the wiring harness and motor right? I was just trying to roll up the windows while I wait on the parts.

You can get windows up manually or power the window actator from outside source. Again FSM is your friend

A great way to power items such as windows:

Get one of the batteries that come in a computer, battery back up block. Rectangle shape, weight about 5 pounds.

Use alligator clips and connect to the batter then to the window regulator and you can make it go up and down.

Not much choice without harness and power source. Its easy though...couple of screws and some tabs...should take 5 mins. You can do it.

Probably should take off my driver door anyways. It makes a lot of rattling and annoying noises when you pull it closed. Driving me nuts already and the car isnt running.
