WA FC3S recommended HID?

Hey RX7Club,

My stock headlights are running pretty dim and I think its time for a change, for an HID installation would I have to buy this whole conversion kit? or just change the bulbs?

I've never really looked into these headlight ordeals... are HID and H4 bulbs even the same thing?

There are plenty of cheap ebay HID kits that will also blind other drivers, but a real HID conversion can be pretty expensive. H4 is a halogen bulb; not the same as HID. If your lights are dim, it's a good bet the alternator is struggling. If you rev the engine do the lights get brighter? If the alternator is fine, I'd just suggest some Silverstar halogen replacement lamps. They're about as bright as you can get with sealed beam halogens, and they don't cost much.
