FL FC won't start

I recently just bought a non-running FC. It was in fairly rough condition but the motor turns over so I'm hoping I can save it.

What I know of the car is it does not have the original motor, it's a 13B from a mazda store (dealership maybe?) that I do not remember the name of, which has around 60k miles on it. The exhaust is a 3" straight pipe (I think this may need to go because it is too large?). It had a sound system in it and the way it was wired was that it was grounded to the strut tower and alternator and had another battery connected to the front one sitting in the rear storage. It also has miscellaneous wires here and there that I don't know what they are.

The guy I bought it from said it was his daily driver and one morning it simply wouldn't start. He told me he had tried to unflood it. I also tried unflooding it but it still will not start. All four plugs are NGK BUR7EQP and as I recall these were the stock leading plugs and the trailing plugs were NGK BUR9EQP. (not sure if this has any effect). I did not change the plugs after trying to unflood it because no one stocks them I did however drain the gas and put new gas in. The battery I used was also drained I cranked it using jumper cables (not sure if that had any effect on it.

Other than that I don't know much about this car. Any help I could get to try and get this car running would be much appreciated.

welcome to the board.

well, since you know virtually nothing useful about the car, you're going to have to start from scratch. confirm the following:
1. compression
2. fuel
3. spark

... and get a good, strong battery.

I bought one non running two days ago. Did the suggested remove lower plugs, cranked to clear unburned fuel, gave each a squirt of oil, and after about three sets of 10 second cranking, it started and blew a smoke cloud out the tailpipes. Been running fine since!
