Kinda what I was thinking may be fine. Did yours ever go to limp mode prior mixing?

I had code 27, so I bought another ecu off eBay. I sent it to pocketlogger ( RTek 1.0), got the ecu back, hooked it up and be done with it.

And was done with it.

It runs a lot smoother now that I went to premixing.

So you need to retune your ECU to get it to work properly?

Premixing has nothing to do with how smooth the engine runs. Zip. Nada. The primary reason anyone does it is because they either don't know how or don't want to fix the oil metering system. The only way it's going to be smoother is if you're comparing it to an S5+ that's running in limp mode because the pump is dead.

Nothing.

No. Stock S5 ECUs must be chipped to prevent limp mode, but that's it. S4s don't have to do anything, and neither do cars running standalones.

Where do you find said chip for the S5 ECU?
