That's like asking if it's possible to have a 1972 Pontiac 455 HO engine block with a 2008 Viper 6-speed manual transmission and a 1975 Ford 9" rear end with a Detroit Locker and disc brakes.
Of course, it's possible. How much $$$ do you want to spend?

Not so much. The GTUs used the same rear end as all the other NAs.
If you want to use a TII diff you have a few options:
1. Swap the drivetrain engine-back. TII flywheel, clutch, transmission, driveshaft, rear end.
2. Swap just the differential and half shafts, but make a custom driveshaft.
3. Swap only the diff, but have a custom driveshaft and half shafts made.
4. Any other interesting combination of the above.
So long story short, it is not straightforward without either swapping a lot of stuff or going the custom route.
And for the final time, because this seems to be an often expressed myth, the GTUs has an NA drivetrain.
