FC Header on Convertible

I've been looking at headers and I want to know whether or not a regular 13b header will fit on a convertible. On Racing Beat it says nothing about it but other cheaper headers all say something about it not working. Any input would be helpful

It depends on the brand and how they made it. Convertibles have an additional sub-frame brace at the engine/transmission junction area, which can cause clearance problems. If you look at RB's NA downpipes (bolt to stock exhaust manifold), you can see there's a separate one for convertibles: http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...nts/16209.html. I suspect that the coupe version uses a more gradual slope at the front end, which would hit the brace on a convertible.

When in doubt, call the manufacturer.
