GA fc gauge cluster question

i have a s4 fc im trying to put together and i noticed on the back of the gauge cluster there something that looks like a cable screws into it or something i was just wondering what goes there?

From: Smiths Falls.(near Ottawa!.Mapquest IT!)
The cluster has 2 electrical connectors and a Mechanical SPEEDOMETER cable input.
So cable is for speedo.

Cable screws in at the trans,but it slips into the Speedo cluster and locks via a white plastic slip collar on the cable.
