Question FC code 27 metering oil pump HELP PLEASE

I need help figuring out where the metering oil pump is on a 93 rx7? Got the CEL on code 27. I didn't have this problem before but I just did a intercooler and piping install and after the install I get the code??? I also messed with some vacuum lines fixing them and all that, could any of this be related? Any help or suggestions will help since I'm totally new to rotary but i dont know a LOT about regular engines. Thanks everyone

oh PS I read that it could be the mop possible just getting stuck sometimes, is there anything I can do or maybe add to the oil to clean it up a bit like "seafoam", that stuff does wonders to regular engines???

The OMP/MOP is on the front cover. When they fail, it's basically time for a new one. I've never heard of anyone fixing one. Unless the plug has come loose, you're probably not going to find an easy fix.

How hard it it to remove the omp while the engine is still in the car?

It's not the difficult. Download a copy of the 3rd gen FSM (links in the FAQ), and familiarize yourself with the engine bay. The pump bolts to the passenger-side of the front cover, and will have (brittle!) oil lines running up towards the intake manifold.
