Hey everyone , i have alot of minor problems in my car (interior)

if the stock deck of a mazda doesn't work does that mean if i put in a aftermarket will it still work ?

and if i wanted to put in a aftermarket deck where can i buy the deck dash installation kit ?

my booth of the gear is mess up basically the shifting it's hard to find the gear but i can still input it in by using alot of force , how can i repair that? is the the shift linkage or the shifter ? if i replace it with the short shifter will it be solve?

& for some reason my FC doesnt have a AC harness is it missing .. due to the original owner it was a project car ..

Probably. It really depends if the issue is with the wiring, or more likely, the stock radio.

You likely don't need it. The stock stereo bracket is just a double DIN bracket so almost all aftermarket stereos will bolt right in with some minor modifications to the bracket. What you may need parts of a dash kit for is to fill the empty space underneath the stereo if yours is only DIN size.

First, make sure the clutch is fully disengaging when you press the pedal. If the clutch is working, replace the shifter bushings (see FAQ).

I have the same problem with my trans and ive replaced the shiter bushings a couple of times and even replaced the trans because the sycros were going on my old one and wouldnt ya know it i have the same prob with the replacement so what i gather is the n/a trans arent that tough and things wear and tear pretty easy so i just deal with the whole tranny thing until i can afford to rebuild it or do a new one as far as the stereo thing my car is an 88 as well and my stock stereo didnt work so i upgraded anall is well you should be able to get a dash install kit at your local stereo shop for about fifteen bucks that comes with the cool little cubby whole under your new deck but you will need a plug block if you want your power antenna to work they should line you right up like i said at your local stereo shop

i bought a short shifter and it came with all th bushings. before i put the new bushings in i onlyhad the first one. theres like 3 u need. so maybe the short shifte u get will come with the bushings. mine wasnt more than 100 dollars.

yeah i think it's my bushings i see them all bended inside and stuff.. gonna have to replace them with new one's
