Fake dual exhaust vs. single, what is the general concensus?

My opinion is no.

All of them are way too loud (loud is relative but I like to hold a conversation in my car, not annoy the neighbors and be able to listen to the stereo at something other then full volume).

Plus, having only one exhaust outlet and two cutouts in the bumper makes the car look broken.

I'm running a 2.25" longtube header, to a electric cutout, to the stock y-pipe, then straight back to two resignators

don't worry, I have a 740il to take my girlfriend in, this is my obnoxiously loud "annoy the neighbors" car!

Haven't gotten pulled over yet, and I live in California.

Hi, sorry for the slight thread hi-jack -

Is there anywhere other than racing beat where you can get headers, downpipes etc other than making them yourself?

Thanks
