Serious question / building post count so I can make a build thread. My factory clock will not save the time! what am I doing wrong? Every time I turn off the car it'll reset.... Also! My factory radio lights up but radio fictions do not work. All I have is lights, nothing else! Same with cig lighter. Related?

It is an 89 Gtu.

 

If the cigarette lighter does not work then check if that specific fuse is good or not (10 amp cigar fuse powers the Blue/Black wire at the lighter). This fuse is also one which is connected to the clock. Also, check the 20 amp radio fuse as well. And check the fuse which provides constant voltage to the radio (look in the FAQ for the wire color).

 

^^ Yup check your fuse connected to the clock^^ my buddy had the same problem
