Ok I need help or advice on exh. work that needs to be done. I am strapped for cash but I am a o.k. fabricator i steered in right direction. my baby is a 1980 fb sa22 rx. just put motor out of a 85 in and eliminated all of the emissons crap.right now i have a piece of flex pipe welded to exhaust bung and thermar reactor. want better sound and more hp if poss... please help.

 

only thing i can say is save your cash it is worth it to put on good exhaust. I have a 3" Borla cat back and it sounds killer and increased the hp, well it feels like it. The only issue that I have is that there is not enough back pressure and it backfires a bit when running it hot. the local dealership told me that the backfire is because of the exhaust. thank you for the info and your right i should at least get a good header sick of my exhaust leaking
