Engine swap
Hi ! I got a 13b renesis engine 4port manual . this engine was supposed to be a spare part engine for my rx-8auto , but I did not need any other parts that come
with the rebuild kit , I was thinking , is it possible to put this engine in my rx-7 1985 , I want to use carburetor and distributor . I have seen that a company in melbourne is producing
inlet manifoild for ida carburetor. Some advice thanks ?

welcome to the board.
the simple answer is yes. you can put the engine in your '85. a few people have done it now.
this is the only thread that i can think of that has been somewhat documented: https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...1122946/page2/
you will need to figure out how to mount it. i would also imagine that you will need an aftermarket flywheel setup to accommodate the 1985 tranny.
