want to put in a electric distributor off later model rx7 in my 79 to replace contact points distributor, was hoping someone could give a walkthrough of all the wiring changes I need to do.

 

well since the ignitors mount on the dist on late models instead of where urs r located, i'd say all u got to do is make the wires longer to reach the dist. and use the coils too.

I did this conversion many years ago and while it's been so long I cannot give you a blow by blow on everything to do I highly reccomend the swap.
