ECU reset

Just wondering after any sort of major fix. For example a intercooler hose replacement due to collapsing, would it help the car and how it runs if a ecu reset is done. My car Was crazy boggy. After cheking all my pipes turned out it was one of the intercooler piping so once that was replaced i was getting much better boost levels and i could feel much better pressure being built. One thing its doing now though is under full throttle its sputtering. Im thinking maybe the ecu set something when the car had the vacuum leak and now that its fixed it needs a reset? maybe i am jus plain crazy and just need my plugs replaced since its been 3000km since i changed them. Thank you

You should post vehicle information in all tech threads. At any rate, an ECU reset isn't going to do anything whether this is a 2nd gen or 3rd gen car.
