ECU Question

I've searched the RX7Club forums, but to no avail. I'm sure it's an easy answer. I purchased a 1988 JDM B13 online to swap into my 1987 GXL. It came with everything except the ECU. My question is, with the Japanese harness, can I use a USDM ECU or does it have to be JDM? And based upon the answer, which N3xx should I be using for best results?

I've checked the FAQ at FC3S Pro. It claims that the only ECU that'll work is N344, which has to be the rarest ECU in the world because I can't find it anywhere. That's why I'm posting here to see if there is any alternative.

Use a N332/333 and keep your non-turbo EM harness. A JDM harness is too short to use on a LHD car, and changing a couple wires on the NA harness is far easier than adapting in a turbo harness.

All the info you need is in the 2nd Gen Tech section. I'd do a lot of searching before you start taking things apart. There are a ton of threads on turbo swaps.

According to the ECU FAQ, the only ECU that will work is N344, which I cannot find one of anywhere. That's why I'm posting here to try to locate an alternative. Is there any other ECU I can use?

Disregard my last post. Forgot about the admin approval timeframe. OK, so I'm going to just get the N333 ECU and change the 2 wires on the harness so I don't have to worry about trying to locate a JDM ECU. Thanks for the help!
