Dual Exhaust for FD???

Does anyone make a proper dual exhaust (one on each side of the car) for an FD RX7?

I don't want it for any performance boost, I already have a 3" straight through exhaust and downpipe. It just purely for aesthetics.

Thanks

Not that I have ever seen or heard of. Guess you could have one made. I don't think It would look right.

I have seen a picture of a show car with them but not sure if they were both connected and can no longer find the picture.

I've never seen it. It would require changing the gas tank to something custom...and probably alot smaller..which would also require custom fuel lines etc. And I'm not sure where you could would cross over from right to left. So it didn't look cheezy it would need custom work on the rear fascia as well.
Since only radically modded FDs require anything beyond 3" exhaust and reducing back-pressure is generally not an issue with a single pipe, the goal of doing all that wouldn't be for increased performance...just visual. Hence, why VERY few even try.

If you are concerned about the aesthetics you wouldn't want duals on a FD. Haha.

LS1Pariah's car for sale...pic of dual exhaust in his thread...he may be able to give you more insight

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-vehicles-107/1993-w-built-ls1-h-c-ac-trac-control-abs-ccw-fl-car-clean-997953/

F-body gas tank: This replaces the steel FD steel tank, is plastic and will not rust. Most importantly this allowed him to run a dual outlet exhaust to both sides of the car, which is essentially impossible with a stock FD tank. This permitted him to modify and use the SLP dual-dual Loudmouth stainless steel catback that came on the parts car. The F-body tank also uses an internally regulated fuel pump so you don’t need the vette external regulated fuel filter. The F-body EVAP system is also used and fully functional. This required the FD spare tire well to be removed, so there is no place to put a spare.

Looks to be nicely done, but isn't a dual system. Then again, the OP just wanted the look.

I've seen pretty tight true dual setups run side by side on third gen firebirds and camaros - i'm sure you can find a way to route it. Depends on the size of the piping i guess.
