hey guys my brother in law and me recently bought an 89 s5 and slowly fixin it up, removing rust and what not.
The other day we pulled of the side molding on the driver door and to our surprise was a huge hole i could put my hand in. A friend of mine suggested a door skin? i have no idea if theres even such a thing. he said its just like replacing a quarter panel.
have you guys ever heard of that?

 

For all of the trouble that you would go through to skin the door I would recommend finding one in a junkyard and painting it. It will be simpler, faster, easier and probably cheaper.

 

Yeah agree, just look for another door, would be pretty cheap and simple
