Door panel installation.

I have an '87 GXL that I bought with the drivers side door panel removed. If anyone can tell me how to put I back on it'd be greatly appreciated

have you looked at the panel.
It is pretty well self explanatory.
slip the top part into the groove where the window is .(hook up any wires needing hooked up if Power windows)Line up the fasteners to the holes in the door and just bang the panel and it will attach to the door. and attach the door handle cup, armrest, and Window crank if you have manual windows.
I would have got my Dog to do mine but he has no Thumbs!..damn dog..

I put a little bit of masking tape on the door panel opposite each one of the clips. That way I know where to push.

Tools needed are you hands, a phillips screwdriver and some consideration that the plastics are old and brittle.

Yeah man, I mean I know how to install door panels. I've just never had a car with window cranks. I have no idea how to remove the crank and put it back on. Noob I know, but the only other car I've ever owned had power windows so I didn't have to remove a crank

Good trick.
there is a clip that surrounds the plastic inside the crank.it is like a bent up "U".
.. take a piece of thin rag and surround the Window crank Between the Crank and the Door card..Like you were going to buff a shoe...
Now slowly pull one side of the rag and it will catch the outer edge of the clip and pull it off the crank. You should be able to feel it ,then see it.
If you can see it,Grab it with a screw driver or needle nose.
Try working the crank or the spline of window mechanism if you see the clip.
