Very few S5 NAs had LSDs (GTUs model), and I don't think any '91s did.

Only one way to find out. Jack up the rear of your car and try to turn it by hand, both wheels should be turning at the same direction. If not it's an open diff.

still not gettin my answer, is there any other way to find out if its an lsd ? Does it meen by the other tire not turning at all that its an open diff ? From what I understand mazda denies any of its 91's having lsd's but people have found out that a few cars did infact have lsd on cars with the 4 piston calipers, electric sun roof.. ect. witch mine does.

get underneath the car and see if there is a tag near the oil filler. sometimes it states that the third member is limited slip and what oil to use....
(at least on my s4's)

Spend sometime on the racetrack or autocross! If you have an LSD you should be able to tackle those hairpin easily on the exit. Or join a drift practice you'll figure this out quick when you initiate your drift, it should break loose and ease it out on transition. If your rear wheels doesn't break loose and have to rev it high to get it then it's an open or worn out LSD. Hope this will help!
