just kidding but seriously, i just picked up my FD on wednesday and the guy before me just had new molded carpet put into it. it's black exterior with tan interior and he put in black molded carpet. i'm assuming that it did not come this way from the factory? if so i'm going to change it back as it doesn't look right. either that or convert it all to black on black and get rid of the tan parts but that could take a while unless i find someone doing an interior pull. so was my cars carpet black to start? i'm assuming no.

all black interior with tan seats and carpet would look good. or just the tan seats.

 

I've seen some FD's with Black carpet and Saddle colored seats and interior. It looks nice and has more contrast than an all one color interior.
Not sure if any were factory that way. Or people have changed them out.
Go with what you like whether it's factory or not.

yeah i think i just need to finish it up. gonna run a junk yard search for a black interior and see what i wind up with. probably doing the carbon fiber door panels as the stock ones are falling apart.
