ON do i have the right injectors?

hi i bought injectors off of ebay and they finally showed up today(month later). I ordered 680 cc for a 85 gsl-se but when i look at the ones i got they have green plastic instead of orange. Does anyone know if they are just a different make but same size or if they are wrong. I just don't want to put it all back together and be screwed. thanks in advance

Are they factory Denso injectors, or some other brand? Many no-name e-bay injectors are junk, so be careful. Get the injectors flow tested before using them.

they are denso injectors(just rebuilt). So i have put the injectors in bolted everything up checked and double checked all vacuum hoses and connectors are on but it will not even try to fire. i checked spark good, compression good, and fuel seems good(i even tried quick start). is it possible they are the wrong injectors and that is the problem? any help would be appreciated i have to get this car going this week or I'll have to sell it and get a daily driver

After cranking, are the spark plugs wet with gas? Try flood clearing if they're wet.

As mentioned, I'd personally have any unknown injectors flow tested to confirm they are what the seller says they are. An undersized injector would likely still allow the car to start, but an oversized injector will flood it. The start up map on '86+ EFI systems is very rich, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same on a GSL-SE.

ok so this is where i stand i have borrowed some injectors off a friend . Got them cleaned professionally and still not even a hiccup.there is a bit of a back story the whole reason i changed the injectors is because of hard ,or not starting on cold days.(i figured a leaking injector that i know it had) So now my thoughts are that it must be something else i have done a deflood, checked double checked EVERYTHING. I'm at a loss. the only other thing i have read and can see is maybe the airtemp and watertemp sensors? any ideas or suggestions ?

The water temp sensor on the back of the water pump housing does affect fuel mixtures. It's a pain to get at, but it may be worth testing. In the meantime, try starting the car with the yellow fuel pump test connector (passenger shock tower) jumpered. From there you can get more involved and test the primary injectors for flow with the rail removed from the block. The FSM has testing procedures for this.

make sure you didnt hook up your scondary wires on your primary injectors..if you did no injector will fire....since your scondary come in at about 3500 rpm ...if it is on ur primary it will never see that rpm...LOL i did this once.....it killed me for about a day
