Differential Questions
Howdy all,
I have a few questions regarding 2nd gen (FC) rx-7 differentials.
I'm working on a project miata in which we were using the n/a, 7'' LSD off of an 87 convertible.
At some point, the pinion gear seized inside the housing and I/we did not have the tools to free the gear from the housing. I took it to a shop who claimed they would be able to separate the parts. Unfortunately they lied, and stole my parts.
I still have the hubs, axles, and DS I was using prior, I also have an open 7'' diff with axles.
Given the above information, my question is which model differential should I be trying to find in order to use the same axles and DS again? I know it's one of the n/a, 7'' models, but after some quick reading in here I see that there are a few different trim levels with different kit and I have no idea which is which.
Any input is appreciated, thanks for reading!

Just to expand on Midnightbluefc's input, the only NA differential you can't use i the S5 GTUs differential.
Also, some shopping advice for your next differential. Convertibles came with a 3.90 open diff. Almost all others are 4.10 open or LSD. The rare exception being the S5 GTUs 4.30 that fits differently.
Dealer options and services along with a string of previous owners doesn't guarantee what is currently on the car, so you're just going to have to check out the parts yourself.
