Question Differential bolt seized

Last night my friend and I tried changing the oil in the differential.

We made a major mistake in not loosening the top bolt first. I have since read the several pointers here indicating to do this. I know it was a mistake.

My question now is, what can be done to get this bolt loose? I've tried WD40 and heating it up with a butane torch. No luck.

I've called some shops and they are all afraid that the differential case will break during the process and I am trying not to do that as money is shallow at the moment. Does anyone have any tips or tricks?

Get some good penetrating oil like nut cracker or blaster from Napa and soak it a couple times and let it set for 10 minutes. Put a wrench or ratchet on there with a snipe and give it a go! If that doesn't work a hotter torch may be needed too.

I gave up, tried a lot of different responses from here and other sites. None of them worked. The car is now at the shop after a tow getting the bolt removed. My question now is, where can I get a replacement bolt? I've tried the junk yards and a google search trying to find one. Mazdatrix and rockauto do not list them. Is there another car I can pull one off of?

might not be the best way to solve the problem but it will work for a while try to find a Chrysler or Chevy rubber plug that might solve your problem
