so i just found out the the front center mount on my differential is bad. i think its some kind of rubber bushing but im not sure. any ways any time i take off i can feel the diff hitting the underside of the car. i can imagine that this is not a good thing.. so i need to know what the bugger is called so that i can get one to replace it.. also if anyone knows any tricks or tips to swap it out i would be very thankfull

 

Interestingly enough, its called the front diff mount. You can get it at mazdatrix.

To replace you are going to want to drop the rear subframe of the car and then take off the diff, replace the mount, re-install the diff, and then re-install the subframe.
